Tim Minchin is my new mancrush.

I just finished a brief video chat over Skype with a JREF friend! Me in Canberra, her in Scottsville, Virginia, USA. There's a distance of almost 16,000 km between us, but we could see each other and chat as though she were in the very next room.

Ain't technology wonderful? I keep saying things like "where the hell is my jetpack" but it's things like this that make me realise that we already have our jetpacks! They're just not the kind of jetpacks that let us fly through the air. We're living in the 21st Century, and the future is here, today.
